Organic Aromatic Hydrosols (or Floral Water)
Our aromatic hydrosols are made from organically grown plants and distilled using a steam process. They are obtained by gentle, slow steam distillation.
During the manufacturing process, steam carries the essential oils when it comes into contact with the plants, and then releases them on cooling: it is this steam that provides our rich, active floral waters.
One kilogram of distilled fresh plants produces one litre of floral water. Aromatic hydrosols are naturally rich in active substances and aromatic molecules, and no water is added, to guarantee their level of concentration and all their properties.
The hydrosols obtained in this way are then micro-filtered to 0.2 microns to curb any risks of contamination.
